The RTF (ready to fly) electric Freedom Flyer is the right stuff needed for a beginner to intermediate electric radio control airplane. The combination of the high-lift wing and robust motor, powered with the new technology NiMH (nickel metal hydride) battery pack, gets this small, sharp looking RC airplane to altitude fast!

A beginner remote control airplane flyer needs to focus on one thing, learning to fly! The Freedom Flyer comes with everything required in one box (8-AA alkaline batteries needed for the transmitter not included). It comes built, so there’s no need to worry about soldering, cutting or gluing. It’s all done for you and good to go (wing will need to be attached). Even the NiMH battery charger is included. All construction is formed from rugged PolyNylolene™ and can really take some abuse, again, another great aspect for the R/C flight novice.

The PF4000 4-channel radio is hobby quality, meaning all the flight components, electronic speed control, servos and receiver, are individual components. This makes this radio ideal for future use in other remote control airplanes as your flying skills advance.

Differing from other little electric powered RC models, with its hefty power and high-temper sprung landing gear, the take-offs and landings are something the RTF Freedom Flyer does gracefully and easily from pavement or a hard-packed surface. Of course, you can also hand-launch if you plan on flying from a high-grass field.

An instructional video CD is included with your purchase, containing all the instructions you need to get started with this RTF (ready to fly) electric remote control airplane. Another great feature of the Freedom Flyer is the option to upgrade to all 4-channels, with the special aileron wing upgrade - this plug and play upgrade ensures that the airplane is capable of some very smooth aerobatics, and more precise directional control (this upgrade is coming soon from Megatech).
